About Membership

• Membership is open to all* serving and retired police officers of Gloucestershire Constabulary.

• There is no longer a ‘Paid-Up Member’ class.**

• Membership is also open to those in receipt of a widows or children’s pension from the Constabulary.

• As of January 2025, the monthly subscription is just £2 per month, deducted direct from either your salary or pension.

• You may join at any point during your service or retirement.

• You may terminate your membership of the Fund at any time, simply by emailing the Fund Secretary at (add email link)

• The rules of the fund, including membership criteria and member subscription rate, may change from time to time at the discretion of the Fund Trustees. Any such changes will be reflected in the Fund rules which can be found here (add link)

• You may also complete a membership form and send it to us by either post or email. You can find that form below.

• *If you are now in receipt of a police pension but were previously dismissed from the Constabulary for Gross Misconduct, you may NOT become a member of the Fund.

• ** The ‘Paid-Up Member’ membership class was removed when the Fund transitioned to a charity in 2023. We now require all members to subscribe with a monthly donation. This allows us to maintain better records of our membership and ensure we don’t lose contact with those who may need our help.
